Itzel grew up in East Los Angeles and is currently attending the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA as part of the CDU/UCLA Medical Education Program. She is interested in endocrinology, psychiatry, and health policy. During her free time, she enjoys going to concerts, watching the Dodgers, and spending time with family and friends.
